Professional taxi service from Charing Cross, beside Trafalgar Square at the point road distances to London have officially been measured from since the early 1800s. Arriving from Kent on Southeastern services, or heading out after a West End show, Rushxo gets you onward at a fare fixed before you travel. No taxi-rank queue, no meter, no surge. DBS-checked drivers, TfL Licence 11588.
About Charing Cross Station
Charing Cross sits beside Trafalgar Square, at the junction officially recognised since the early 1800s as the centre of London — a plaque by the statue of Charles I confirms it's the point from which road distances to and from the capital are measured, and the reference point for the traditional London taxi driver's "Knowledge" test. The station itself is a busy Southeastern terminus serving Kent, alongside the Bakerloo and Northern lines beneath it.

That dead-centre position means everything converges here: commuters, tourists heading to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery, and West End theatre crowds after evening performances. Booking a fixed-price Rushxo car means your driver is already assigned before your train pulls in — no queue, no meter, and a fare agreed before you left home.
How to book
Pickup at Charing Cross, your destination — airport, hotel or London address — plus your arrival time, passengers and luggage.
See your guaranteed price and choose the vehicle — saloon, executive, MPV or 8-seater. No surge, no meter; the fare is confirmed before you travel.
Driver details and the exact pickup point arrive by SMS. Step out of the station, find the registration plate, and let the driver take the luggage.

How to choose. Public transport wins on price for one traveller with hand luggage at 10am. A taxi usually wins when there are two or more of you (one fare for the car, not per person), when you have hold bags or a pushchair, for flights before the first train arrives or landings after the last one leaves, and when a change of train or a station without lifts would be a problem. Rail fares above are per adult; add £4–£6 per person for the DART/shuttle where shown, and remember engineering work most weekends.
