About Richmond upon Thames
London's leafiest riverside borough, covered door to door
Richmond upon Thames is the only London borough to straddle both banks of the Thames, and it makes the most of the water on every side. Richmond Park, the largest of London's Royal Parks at 2,500 acres, is home to free-roaming red and fallow deer. Kew Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, holds one of the world's great plant collections. Twickenham Stadium is the home of England Rugby, the largest rugby-only stadium in the world. And Hampton Court Palace — Henry VIII's great Tudor residence — sits within this borough too, on the river's north bank near East Molesey.
RushXO runs a dedicated Richmond rota; our drivers know the match-day road closures around Twickenham, the Richmond Hill traffic, and the fastest way onto the A316 and A4 toward Heathrow.
