Terminal 2 is Heathrow's Star Alliance hub and international gateway—where United, Lufthansa, Swiss International, Singapore Airlines, Air Canada and dozens of other carriers converge. It's also the most modern terminal at Heathrow, with one arrivals concourse that makes meet & greet genuinely simple.
Which airlines arrive at Terminal 2?
Terminal 2 is the main hub for Star Alliance partners. If you're flying on any of these carriers, you'll arrive at T2:
All North American routes
Germany & European network
Zurich hub connections
Asia-Pacific long-haul
North American routes
Middle East & beyond
Always check your boarding pass to confirm your terminal—airlines occasionally reassign terminals, so don't assume based on your carrier.
One arrivals hall, one place to meet
Unlike older terminals with scattered carousels and confusing exits, Terminal 2 funnels all arrivals through a single, modern concourse. After baggage reclaim and customs, you walk straight through and there's your driver with a name board.
- One arrivals hall = one meeting point (no confusion)
- Modern facilities with clear signage to ground transport
- Short-stay parking charges already built into your fare
- Help with luggage from the terminal to your vehicle
