Ramblin' Man: a festival in the middle of Maidstone
Mote Park is a town park, not a farm in the countryside. That makes Ramblin' Man wonderfully easy to reach and almost impossible to park near, because the streets around it are people's homes and they are treated as such on festival weekend.
Which is the whole point and the whole problem. Ten minutes from Maidstone town centre, under an hour from anywhere in Kent, and a residential grid around the park where leaving a car for the day is not going to work.

Mote Park has limited capacity of its own and the surrounding streets are residents' parking, enforced properly over festival weekend. Anyone hoping to find a space nearby is going to spend the first band looking for one and may come back to a ticket.
Collection sits outside the residential streets
We hold position on a road that traffic can leave by rather than in the terraces around the park, which means a short walk and a much quicker departure. The exact point and the registration go to your phone before the headliner finishes.
It is genuinely cheap from anywhere in Kent
A ten-mile run from Medway or a two-mile run from Maidstone costs very little, and split across a group it is close to trivial. For a festival with this size of line-up, that is unusual and worth taking advantage of.
Camping or not, both are easy
The site runs camping and plenty of people use it, but the county location means going home each night is entirely practical. For families, and for anyone who has decided they are done with tents, that is the obvious choice.

Realistically no. On-site capacity is limited and the surrounding streets are residents' parking, enforced over festival weekend. It is the main reason local people book transport for an event they could almost walk to.
How far is it from around Kent?
Very close to everywhere. Ten minutes from Maidstone, half an hour from Medway or Tunbridge Wells, under an hour from Canterbury or Dartford. These are among our shortest festival fares.
Where will you collect us?
On a road outside the residential grid that traffic can actually leave by, a short walk from the park. We send the point and the registration before the headline set ends.
Can we go home each night?
Yes, and many local groups do. The site runs camping but the county location makes day tickets entirely practical, which is unusual for a festival of this size.
What time does it finish?
Earlier than a rural festival, because Mote Park is surrounded by houses and the licence reflects that. You will be home at a reasonable hour.
Can you take a family group?
Yes. Tell us about pushchairs or any accessibility needs at booking and we will size the vehicle and set down as close as we are permitted.
Is it worth booking for such a short trip?
If you intend to have a drink, yes, and that is usually the reason. Split across four or six people the fare is small.
Is the price fixed?
