Short answer: every price we quote is for the whole vehicle. Two people in a saloon pay the same as four; a family of six in an MPV pays one fare, not six. It is the single biggest difference between a private transfer and the airport trains, and it is why a car wins on price as soon as there are three of you with luggage.

Take a fare of £100 for a saloon from Heathrow into central London. One person pays £100; two pay £50 each; four pay £25 each, door to door, with luggage, and no station at either end. The same four people on the Heathrow Express pay four adult fares plus the taxi from Paddington. An MPV at £115 for six is under £20 a head. For twelve people, a 16-seater is usually cheaper than two MPVs and far cheaper than four cabs, and everyone arrives together.

A saloon takes four passengers with two large cases and two cabin bags. With four large cases choose an MPV, which takes six people and four cases.
