Five thousand people, a sloping floor, and a finish time that ranges from eleven at night to six in the morning depending on what is on. Brixton is the venue where the way home is not an afterthought, it is the whole question.
A midweek gig, a weekend gig, a club night and an all-nighter all happen in the same building on the same street, and they end four hours apart. Booking the right one matters more than booking early, which is why we ask what you are actually going to.
Four different endings, four different journeys home
Most venues have one closing time. Brixton has several, and the gap between them is the difference between catching the last train and needing a car at four in the morning.
Midweek gig
Early doors, early curtain, out before eleven. The one night where public transport is a genuine option, though a group will still do better in one vehicle.
Weekend headliner
The standard Friday and Saturday finish. Five thousand people onto Stockwell Road at once, and the point at which the last-train maths starts to get uncomfortable for anyone heading into Kent.
Club night
Now there is no train, no tube and a very long wait for anything else. This is the core of what we do at this venue and the reason most people find this page.
All-nighter
Sunrise finishes, a tired group and nothing running. A pre-booked car is not the convenient option here, it is the only sensible one.
What is still running when you come out
This is the calculation that catches people. Brixton is superbly connected until roughly half past midnight and very poorly connected afterwards, and a lot of the venue's programme finishes on the wrong side of that line.

Brixton is closer to Kent than people think
SW9 sits south of the river, which makes it one of the easier central venues to reach from our patch. No tunnel, no crossing, and a straight run in on the A2 or the A20.

Late-night journeys are quicker than the daytime equivalents because the roads are empty. That is one of the few advantages of a three in the morning finish. Get a fixed price.
How we work a Brixton night
The pick-up is not directly outside
Stockwell Road and Brixton Road are busy, narrow and heavily enforced, and when five thousand people come out at once the frontage becomes impassable. We collect from an agreed side street a few minutes' walk away, which sounds like a compromise and is actually faster. The exact point goes to your phone before the end of the night, along with the registration, so there is no hunting for a car you cannot identify.
Booking the return is the whole service
Getting to Brixton is easy. Getting out of Brixton at three in the morning, in a group, heading for Kent, is the part that goes wrong. Ride-hailing apps in SW9 at closing time are a lottery of surge pricing and cancellations, and the fixed price we quote you in advance does not move regardless of what is happening on anyone's app. That is the single biggest reason people book us for this venue.
Safety, and getting everyone home
A named driver, a registration sent in advance, and one vehicle for the whole group is a materially safer way to end a night out than everyone dispersing separately at closing time. We hold position until the last person arrives rather than leaving after ten minutes, and if your group has split across the night we will wait while you reassemble. For parents booking on behalf of younger adults, that is usually the point of the exercise.

Can you pick us up at 3am from Brixton?
Yes, and it is one of the things we do most at this venue. Club nights and all-nighters finish long after anything is running into Kent, so the return is booked in advance with a fixed price and a named driver. Nothing about the hour changes what you pay.
Where exactly do you collect from?

Is the last train an option?
It depends entirely which night you are having. For a midweek gig finishing at half ten, yes. For a weekend headliner it gets tight once you factor in the connection into Kent. For anything finishing after midnight it stops being realistic, which is why most of our Brixton work is the return leg.
How much does it cost compared with an app?
We quote a fixed price when you book, and it does not change at closing time. Apps in SW9 at three in the morning are subject to surge pricing and cancellations, which is exactly when you least want either. Split between six or eight people, we are usually well below the surged fare, and we are guaranteed to turn up.
How long does it take to get back to Kent from Brixton?
Quicker than you would think, because the roads are empty. Gravesend and Dartford are around fifty minutes to an hour, Medway and Maidstone about an hour and a quarter. Late-night runs are the fastest version of these journeys.
Can you take a group of sixteen?
Yes. Minibuses are our most-booked vehicle for Brixton nights, with midi coaches and full coaches available for larger parties. One vehicle keeps the group together, which at closing time is worth more than it sounds.
What if we come out later than planned?
Tell the driver and we will still be there. Set times move, encores happen, and people lose each other in a five-thousand-capacity room. We hold position rather than leaving after a few minutes, and the fare does not change.
Do you do drop-offs as well as pick-ups?
Yes, though the return is what most people need here. Plenty of customers travel in by train and book us only for the way back, which is a perfectly sensible split given how the timetable works.
Can parents book on behalf of someone else?
Very commonly, and it is one of the safest ways to handle a night out. We send the driver's name and registration to whoever is travelling, and the booking contact can be a different person entirely. Tell us who is going and who to update.
Do you cover other south London venues on the same night?
Yes. Multi-stop nights across Brixton, Clapham, Peckham and central London are straightforward to price as one job, and it works out considerably cheaper than booking each leg separately.
