British Airways First Wing at Heathrow T5: chauffeur drop-off for Zone J
The First Wing is Zone J, at the far southern end of the Terminal 5 check-in hall. Tell us you are flying First and your driver drops you at the southern end of the departures forecourt, a few steps from the door.

Where the First Wing is, and where we stop
- Follow the Terminal 5 departures signs. Unlike Virgin at Terminal 3, British Airways has no private road; every car uses the T5 departures forecourt.
- Drop at the southern end. The First Wing is Zone J, at the very southern end of the building, so your driver stops at that end of the forecourt.
- Check in at the First Wing. It has its own check-in desks and two dedicated security scanners.
- Straight into the lounge. A passage from First Wing security leads directly into the Galleries First lounge.
Flying Club World rather than First? Zones A and B handle Club check-in, and a dedicated entrance to the left of North Security leads into the Fast Track lanes. Tell us your cabin and we stop at the right end.

Guests can use the check-in desks, but only lounge-eligible passengers can take the private security route into Galleries First.
Drop-off charge
Heathrow charges £7 each time a car enters a terminal drop-off zone, including T5. It is already included in your Rushxo fare.
When to leave
Central London to Terminal 5 takes 39–59 minutes. For a long-haul First departure, leave about two and a half hours before take-off to enjoy the lounge.
Choosing the car
First passengers usually book our Executive car (£115 from central London) or the S-Class (£225). Families travel in the V-Class (£145, up to seven). All fares are fixed and include the Heathrow charge.
