Wembley Park · London HA9 · Arena, stadium, outlet and Boxpark
Wembley Park: the venue is now a whole evening
Wembley Park used to be a stadium with a car park. It is now a district with an arena, a stadium, an outlet centre, a Boxpark and a great many restaurants, which means an evening here can start at six and finish at midnight. That changes what the transport needs to do.
Covering the whole evening rather than each leg. Home to dinner, dinner to the show, and back to Kent afterwards, priced once so nobody is arranging a car in HA9 at half eleven.
How a Wembley Park evening usually goes
Four parts, and most people only plan the third one.
Eat first
Boxpark, the outlet restaurants and the high street. Far better than queuing for arena food.
Doors
Arena or stadium, a few minutes' walk from wherever you have eaten.
Out
And now twelve to ninety thousand people all leave at once, depending on which venue.
Moving
From a collection point beyond the closures, on a road that is actually flowing.
What is in Wembley Park
Tell us which of these you are going to, because the crowd size and the closures differ enormously between them.
| Venue | Capacity | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| OVO Arena Wembley | About 12,500 | Local closures. Collection on Fulton Road or South Way. |
| Wembley Stadium | Up to 90,000 | Wide closures across the HA9 grid. Collection further out. |
| Boxpark Wembley | Street food and bars | Often the start of the evening, and sometimes the end. |
| London Designer Outlet | Shops and restaurants | Daytime shopping or an early dinner before doors. |
| Wembley Park high street | Restaurants and hotels | Where people stay when they are making a night of it. |
| Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre | Around 2,000 | Smaller room, easier exit, often overlooked. |
Wembley Park from Kent
HA9 is north-west London, so from our patch it is the crossing and the M25, or through town on the tunnels and the A406. The driver chooses on the day.

Why booking the whole evening is cheaper
Three legs priced as one job
Home to Wembley Park, and Wembley Park back to Kent, with an earlier arrival built in for dinner, costs less as a single arrangement than arranging the outbound and then trying to find something for the return. It also means one driver, one number, and nothing to sort out at half eleven with a group who have had a drink.
Eating first solves the arena food problem
Arena catering is expensive and the queues are long. Wembley Park now has a genuine choice of places to eat within a few minutes of the doors, and arriving ninety minutes early to use them costs nothing extra on the transport. From Kent, where the journey is over an hour anyway, it also removes the pressure from the departure time.
Which venue changes everything about the exit
An arena night and a stadium night are not comparable. Twelve thousand people leaving the OVO Arena is a twenty-minute affair with local closures. Ninety thousand leaving the stadium closes a wide ring of roads and takes the best part of an hour. Tell us which and we will set the collection point accordingly.
Staying over is worth considering
Wembley Park has a cluster of hotels, and for a group coming from east Kent a very late return is a long journey at the end of a long day. We are happy to run the outbound and collect the following morning instead, which for some groups works out both cheaper and considerably more pleasant.
Wembley Park evening questions
Planning the whole night rather than one leg.
Can you build dinner into the booking?
Yes, and it costs nothing extra when it is included at the quoting stage. An earlier drop at Boxpark or the outlet restaurants is one of the most common requests we get for this area.
Which venue am I going to?
Worth checking. The OVO Arena holds about 12,500 and the stadium up to 90,000, and they sit a couple of hundred metres apart with completely different closures and exit patterns. Tell us which and we plan accordingly.
Where will you collect us?
For an arena night, Fulton Road or South Way. For a stadium night, further out beyond the closure ring, which is a longer walk but a much shorter wait. We send the exact point before the show ends.
How long does it take from Kent?
An hour and a quarter to an hour and three quarters on the way in depending on where you start, and quicker coming back late at night.
Is it cheaper to book the whole evening as one job?
Yes. Three legs arranged together cost less than an outbound plus whatever you can find for the return, and there is one driver and one number throughout.
Can we stay over instead of coming back?
Yes, and for east Kent it is worth considering. Wembley Park has several hotels and we can run the outbound and collect the next morning.
Is there parking?
Event-day restrictions cover a wide residential area and are enforced firmly. The official car parks fill early and empty slowly. It is not a place to drive to.
Is the fare fixed?
Yes, agreed before you travel and unaffected by an overrun, the traffic, or how long you stay for a drink afterwards.
