This page is written for parents and schools rather than for students, because you are the ones booking it. What you want is not a limousine with the roof cut off. It is knowing who is driving, what time they come back, and who to call.

What parents ask before they book, in the order they ask it

Confirmed in advance
You get the driver's name and the vehicle registration before the night, and a number to reach us on. No unknown vehicle turning up at the door.
Agreed, not open-ended
The return is booked for a specific time that you set, not left for the students to decide. The driver waits at the agreed point rather than leaving.
Us, directly
The booking parent is our contact throughout. If plans change on the night, you hear it from us rather than second-hand.
Tell us yours
No alcohol is permitted in our vehicles. If your school or your family has additional requirements, tell us at booking and we will confirm what we can accommodate.
How prom bookings usually work
Most are one of these three. Splitting the cost across several families is by far the most common, and the cheapest per student.

Prom season, and why timing matters
Prom season in Kent is concentrated into a few weeks in June and July, and it competes directly with weddings for the same vehicles. This is the practical consequence.

The things worth knowing
Splitting between families is much cheaper
A single car for two students costs what it costs. An eight-seater or a minibus shared between five or six families works out at a fraction per student, and it has the additional benefit that the whole group arrives together and leaves together rather than scattering. One parent books, the others pay their share, and there is one point of contact for the night.
The return is the leg that matters
Getting to a prom is easy. Getting home from a venue at eleven at night, when every parent in the year group is trying to arrange the same thing at the same moment, is not. A pre-booked collection at an agreed time and place removes the entire problem, and a fair number of families book only that leg.
Our conditions, plainly
No alcohol is permitted in our vehicles. Seat belts are worn. The driver will not take passengers to a different destination than the one booked without the booking adult's agreement, which is a rule that exists for exactly the situation you are imagining. If any of this conflicts with what has been promised elsewhere, we would rather you knew before you booked.
If the school is organising it
Schools booking transport for a year group have their own requirements around driver checks, insurance documentation and safeguarding policy. Tell us what your policy requires and we will confirm in writing what we can provide for your booking, rather than you having to take a general assurance from a website. We would rather have that conversation properly than skip it.

Will I know who is driving?
Yes. The driver's name and the vehicle registration are confirmed to the booking adult before the night, along with a number to reach us on. Nobody unidentified arrives at your door.
What time will they be brought home?
At the time you set when you book, not at a time the students decide on the night. The driver goes to the agreed collection point and waits rather than leaving if they are a few minutes late coming out.
Can several families share the cost?
Yes, and it is by far the most common arrangement. One parent books an eight-seater or a minibus, the group travels together, and the cost per student is a fraction of individual cars. One adult remains our point of contact.
Is alcohol allowed in the vehicle?
No. Alcohol is not permitted in our vehicles at any time. If that raises a question about what has been arranged, it is much better to have it answered now than on the night.
Can the students change the destination on the night?
Not without the booking adult's agreement. The driver takes passengers to the destination that was booked. If a change is requested, we contact the person who made the booking.
Our school is organising transport. What do you need from us?
Tell us what your school's policy requires in terms of driver checks, documentation and safeguarding, and we will confirm in writing what we can provide for your booking before you commit. We would rather answer that properly than give a general assurance.
When should we book?
Easter is comfortable. By early June the larger vehicles on peak Friday and Saturday dates are frequently gone, because prom season overlaps with weddings. Booking early is the single best thing you can do.
Can you do the collection only?
Yes, and a lot of families do exactly that. Parents drop off and we handle the return, which is the leg that is hardest to arrange on the night.
What if the prom finishes earlier or later than expected?
Contact us and we will adjust where we can. The driver waits at the agreed point rather than departing on the dot, and the fare does not change for a modest overrun.
Do you carry child seats or accommodate a wheelchair?
Tell us what is needed at the point of booking and we will confirm what we can provide for your date. Please raise it in advance rather than on the evening.
