A Latitude weekend

Because the bill runs across theatre, comedy, talks and music, the people who get most out of Latitude are the ones who looked at the programme in advance and worked out what clashes. Some things on site are ticketed separately or fill early. That is unusual for a festival and it rewards half an hour of planning the week before.
The calm is real and it is the selling point
We take a noticeably different set of passengers to Henham Park than to the louder festivals. Families with teenagers, mixed-age groups, couples, and a fair number of people who tried a big rock festival once and did not enjoy it. If somebody in your party is nervous about camping festivals, this is the one to start with.
Under three hours from most of Kent
Over the crossing and up through Essex, which makes Henham Park one of the more accessible camping festivals from our patch, considerably closer than Glastonbury, Kendal or Leeds. The last stretch runs on smaller Suffolk roads, so the final few miles take longer than the map suggests on arrival day.
Still a camping festival, so pack like one
Calm does not mean dry. It is a Suffolk field in July, tents and bedding for four days take up real space, and wellingtons earn their place in the hold most years. Tell us the group size and roughly what is coming and we will size the vehicle honestly.
