Fireworks night: the car park is the problem
A fireworks display lasts twenty minutes. Everyone arrives within the same hour beforehand and everyone leaves within the same ten minutes afterwards, into a field or a car park in the dark. That, rather than the fireworks, is what makes bonfire night worth arranging transport for.
Is roughly how long it takes for every single person at a display to decide to leave. A field car park in November dark, with a few thousand cars all moving at once, takes considerably longer than that to clear.

A local display is fifteen or twenty minutes away, the vehicle splits across a family or two, and it removes the entire car park exercise at both ends. Of everything on this site it is probably the clearest value for money, and it turns a slightly grim November logistics problem into an evening out.
Dress for standing still, not for walking
People underdress for this every single year. You are stationary outdoors in the dark in early November for an hour or more, generating no warmth, and children feel it long before adults do. Layers, hats, proper coats and boots for wet ground. Something hot to drink is worth more than it sounds.
Tell us which display, because they vary
A town display with a field car park, a ticketed estate event and a large London display all need different arrangements. Some have proper drop-off points and some do not, and we will identify a sensible one for the specific event rather than assuming.
It is not Lewes
