Covent Garden to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Taxi

Covent Garden sits in the West End (WC2); Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is on Tottenham High Road (N17), roughly 11 miles to the north. On a normal day the drive is around 35 to 45 minutes, usually up through Islington and along the A1 to Seven Sisters Road, or via Holloway. On a matchday or NFL Sunday, allow longer — Tottenham High Road gets very busy around kick-off.

This is where Tottenham differs from Wembley or the Emirates: there is no direct tube. The nearest options are White Hart Lane on the Overground, or the Victoria line to Seven Sisters or Tottenham Hale followed by a walk or a bus. After a sell-out, those routes are slow and crowded. The trickiest transport of the big venues. The stadium is a stunning, state-of-the-art build — but it opened in 2019 in a part of Tottenham that the tube simply does not reach. Fans rely on the Overground and a couple of Victoria-line stations a walk away. After 62,000 people leave together, those links are packed. A car that is already booked takes the guesswork out.

NFL London and the international crowd. Tottenham is the permanent home of NFL London, with a dedicated American-football pitch beneath the grass one. NFL game days bring huge crowds of visitors — many unfamiliar with the Overground and the north London streets. A door-to-door car from your hotel or the West End takes all of that off the table.

The driver waits after full time. Football, NFL, boxing or a concert — whatever the event, book the return and your driver holds nearby, off the busy High Road, and comes to an agreed point when you are ready. No slow Overground crush, no surge, no wait in the cold.

A group of Spurs fans, a family at the NFL, or American visitors over for the London game — one MPV or 8-seater minibus keeps everyone together, collected from a single West End or hotel address and dropped as close to the stadium as the road controls allow. With Tottenham's awkward transport, a group car makes even more sense here than at other grounds.
