Stansted and London City from WC1
Beyond the three main airports, WC1 also gets a fixed fare to Stansted (about 36 miles, via the A12 and M11) and London City (about 9 miles through the City and Docklands). Arrivals work the same way in reverse: Stansted to London and London City to London with your driver waiting in the terminal.
Early morning and late-night airport runs from WC1
A large share of WC1 bookings are for 4am to 6am pickups: the first Heathrow departures, early Gatwick short-hauls and 6am Luton flights. Pre-booking means the car is allocated the night before, the driver is outside your door a few minutes early, and the fare is the same fixed price you would pay at midday. There is no night surcharge and no surge pricing.

Which terminal? Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton drop-off
- Heathrow: tell us the terminal (T2, T3, T4 or T5) and the driver drops you at the departures forecourt. The Heathrow drop-off charge is already in your fare.
- Gatwick: North or South Terminal changes the drop-off point, not the fare. Give us the airline and we check the terminal for you.
- Luton: drop-off is at the terminal forecourt, with the Luton drop-off fee included. No need for the DART shuttle.
- Arrivals: for airport pickups the driver waits inside the terminal with a name board (meet and greet), and waiting time after landing is free.

Taxi vs train and Tube from WC1
From St Pancras, Thameslink runs to Gatwick and Luton and is fine for one person with hand luggage in the daytime. Heathrow from WC1 means the Piccadilly line from Russell Square or Holborn, around 50 minutes with no luggage space at peak times. For early flights, families and hotel guests with suitcases, a fixed-fare car door to terminal is the simpler option.
The car also removes the two things that go wrong most often: carrying luggage through stations and interchanges, and arriving at the wrong terminal. Your driver takes you to the right forecourt and, on the way back, meets you at arrivals.
