Stansted and London City from SW19

Taxi vs train and Tube from SW19
From Wimbledon, Thameslink runs to Gatwick in around 50 minutes and is a fair option for a solo traveller in the daytime. Heathrow means the District line and a change, and Luton is right across London. Gatwick is the closest airport by road at about 21 miles, with Heathrow about 13 miles via the A3 and M25 or the A316.
