RushXO provides pre-booked private hire for the organisations that arrange transport on behalf of the people they support — local authorities, charities, solicitors, health services, schools, accommodation providers and community organisations — and for individuals booking for someone else. Journeys are arranged in advance, at a fixed fare where applicable, and invoiced to whoever is commissioning them.
Most of these bookings are made by one person for another. That is the model this page is built around: you hold the booking, the passenger travels, and the journey record holds nothing it does not need.
RushXO is a licensed private hire operator. We provide ground transport in the UK. That is the whole of what we do.
We are not part of the Home Office and have no role in immigration processes of any kind. We cannot give immigration advice — giving it is a regulated activity in the UK and we are not authorised to do it, so nobody here will offer an opinion on anyone’s situation, and drivers are instructed not to discuss it. We are not a charity, and our journeys are chargeable.
If you need advice, it should come from a regulated adviser or a specialist organisation — we’ve listed where to look.
Almost every booking system assumes the person paying is the person travelling. In this work they are almost never the same person, and the gap between them is where bookings go wrong — the confirmation goes to a caseworker, the driver rings a number nobody is holding, and a passenger stands at the wrong door.
So we split it properly:
This is the failure that actually happens, so here is what we do about it rather than hoping.
Some of these journeys have consequences attached that an ordinary airport run does not. An appointment missed can mean a rescheduled hearing, a delayed decision, or a service withdrawn for non-attendance. We treat those bookings differently.
We do not need to know what the appointment is, and we will not ask.
A booking record can say a great deal about a person without meaning to. We keep ours to the journey.
A passenger who does not share a language with the driver is an ordinary situation, not a problem, provided the booking is set up for it. What does not work is discovering it at the kerb.
If you are assessing RushXO as a supplier, this is the section you came for.
Assessing us as a supplier? Ask for the compliance pack and we’ll send everything above in one email.
Request the compliance packWe are happy to complete supplier questionnaires and to be assessed through a framework or tender process. See also business and account travel.
Journeys involving unaccompanied children or young people are arranged only under a written commissioning agreement that sets out who hands over at each end, who receives the young person, and what happens if that person is not there.
We will not accept these bookings on an ad hoc basis, and we would treat an operator who did as a warning sign. If you need this and do not have an agreement in place with us, call and we will tell you honestly whether we can do it.
Content team — hard blocker. Publish nothing beyond the two paragraphs above unless RushXO has a documented safeguarding policy, enhanced DBS on the appropriate basis for the drivers concerned, and a template commissioning agreement. If any of those is missing, remove this section entirely rather than softening it. An implied capability here is worse than no page at all.
A first journey in an unfamiliar country, often at the end of a very long day, is the journey most worth pre-booking and the one where a name board matters most. We cover all five London airports and regional airports on request — see London airport transfers.
Hospital, clinic, dental and mental health appointments; school admissions meetings; legal appointments; and registrations of various kinds. These are ordinary journeys with two features worth planning for.
We are a transport company and this is outside what we do — which is exactly why it is worth saying.
Immigration advice in the UK is regulated. It should come from a solicitor, a barrister, or an adviser regulated by the statutory regulator for immigration advice — not from a transport company, and not from an unregulated intermediary charging fees. If someone is charging for immigration advice, it is reasonable to ask what regulates them and to check. Established organisations including [VERIFY AND NAME CURRENT ORGANISATIONS AND URLS] provide free information and can point to regulated advisers.
Depending on circumstances, help with the cost of travel to healthcare appointments may be available through NHS schemes, and support with travel to certain appointments may be available to people receiving asylum support. We cannot tell you whether any of it applies to a particular person — but it is worth asking before paying for a journey privately. A caseworker, the relevant support helpline, or the department you are attending can usually say.
Content team: every organisation, scheme and URL in this section must be verified as current before publication, and re-verified at each review — arrangements and contract holders in this sector change. Keep the wording conditional throughout: “may be available”, never “you are entitled to”. This section must not become advice. Do not link to any Home Office page.
We mention this because we would rather be useful than sell you a journey somebody else would have paid for.
Tell us before booking rather than hoping on the day. What we can arrange depends on the requirement, the location and the date.
Content team — highest-risk section on the page. Publish no claim about wheelchair-accessible vehicles unless RushXO genuinely operates them and can say where and when. If they aren’t offered, say so plainly and signpost a provider who does. Replace this box with an accurate statement either way.
These apply to every RushXO journey rather than to this page in particular, so they live in one place and are kept current there.
Fares are the same for these journeys as for any other. We do not price differently because of who is travelling, in either direction.
Journeys start in London and the South East and run nationwide. All five London airports in full, plus regional airports quoted individually. Long-distance travel in one leg — the M1, M6, M4 and M40 corridors most often — and rail terminals including St Pancras International, Euston, King’s Cross and Liverpool Street. See UK-wide private hire and train station transfers.
If your journey isn’t obviously on that list, ask. Long and unusual routes are quoted individually and we’ll tell you plainly if it isn’t something we can cover well.
Open an account. You get a named contact, invoicing against a purchase order or cost centre, multiple authorised bookers, and the compliance pack for your supplier records. Call "020 8888 9988" or request an account.
Including the department or entrance at large sites. A postcode is not a meeting point.
Rather than a pickup time, if the journey is time-critical. We’ll work backwards and tell you whether it works.
A name for the driver, passenger and luggage numbers, and anyone travelling as an escort.
The passenger’s number, a second contact, and who we should ring first if something goes wrong.
Whether the passenger may not speak English, and whether a message works better than a call.
Wait and call you, or stand down after an agreed time. Your decision, and we’ll follow it.
Where fixed pricing applies, the quoted fare is the fare you pay.
Content team: verify every step against the live booking flow. Steps 1, 4 and 6 require fields the current form does not have — see §18. Remove rather than reword anything the system doesn’t support.
You hold the booking and the invoice; the passenger gets only what they need to travel.
No status, no case reference, no reason for travel — asked for, recorded or passed on.
Account billing, cost centres and consolidated invoices where available.
Licensing, DBS, insurance and data protection evidence in one email.
Tell us the arrival deadline and we’ll say honestly whether it’s achievable.
Agreed at booking, with no surge pricing and no hidden costs.
A name board in arrivals on eligible bookings, and waiting that allows for border queues.
Airports, stations, appointments and long-distance journeys in one leg.
What we don’t claim: RushXO is a commercial private hire operator. We are not a charity, we are not part of or contracted to any immigration process, we are not regulated to give immigration advice and we do not give it, and we make no claim to specialist expertise in anyone’s circumstances. What we offer is a journey that turns up when it said it would, invoiced to you, with a record that holds no more than it needs.
Yes — it’s what this service is built for. You hold the booking, the confirmation and the invoice; the passenger receives the driver’s name, the vehicle and a number to call. Give us a contact number for the passenger and a second contact, usually you, and tell us who we should ring first if there’s a problem.
No. Giving immigration advice in the UK is a regulated activity and we are not authorised to do it, so nobody here will offer an opinion on anyone’s situation and drivers are instructed not to discuss it. Advice should come from a solicitor, a barrister, or a regulated adviser. We’ve listed where to look.
No. RushXO is an independent licensed private hire operator with no role in immigration processes of any kind. We provide ground transport and nothing else.
Addresses, date and time, a name for the driver, contact numbers, passenger and luggage numbers, and your billing reference. We do not ask for or record immigration status, case references, nationality or the reason for the journey. The driver sees a name, the addresses and the time. Records are kept for [X] for accounting and licensing, then deleted — see what we ask for, and what we don’t.
We do not confirm or discuss a booking with a third party, including someone presenting as an official. We take their details and contact you. [CONTENT TEAM: this must match the documented internal procedure.]
[CONFIRM AVAILABILITY AND TERMS.] Where accounts are available they carry a named contact, purchase order and cost centre references on the invoice, multiple authorised bookers, and consolidated invoicing across journeys. Call "020 8888 9988" to discuss it.
Yes — ask for the compliance pack and we’ll send our operator licence number and issuing authority, driver and vehicle licensing arrangements, DBS policy, insurance certificates, and our data protection and retention statement in one email. We’re happy to complete supplier questionnaires and to be assessed through a framework or tender process.
No, provided we know at booking. A written message with the driver’s name, vehicle and time is usually more useful than a call, because the passenger can translate it. Nominate an English-speaking contact for anything that needs explaining. We don’t provide interpreters and wouldn’t present ourselves as a substitute for one.
Whatever you’ve told us to do. Wait and call you, or stand down after an agreed time — decide it at booking rather than on the morning. Without an instruction the driver calls us and we call you. Giving us a second contact number makes this far less likely to happen at all.
Only under a written commissioning agreement setting out handover arrangements at both ends, and not on an ad hoc basis. Call us and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can do it — see young people and safeguarding.
Yes. An open return, or a number for the passenger or escort to call when they’re ready, generally works better than a booked collection time that will be wrong. Tell us which you’d prefer at booking.
No. Fares are the same as for any other journey. We don’t price differently because of who is travelling, in either direction — and we’re a commercial operator, not a charity, so we don’t present the service as free or subsidised either.
Yes. Give us passenger and luggage numbers separately and we’ll size the vehicle. Larger groups and 8-seaters where available — see vehicles and luggage.
Yes — tell us at booking so the vehicle is sized for it.
Yes. Long-distance journeys run nationwide in one leg, which is often better for a passenger than an airport transfer followed by a train and a second taxi. See where we travel.
As early as the appointment allows, particularly for time-critical journeys, larger vehicles and unusual hours. Short-notice bookings are taken where we have availability — call rather than using the form if it’s urgent.
RushXO is a UK licensed private hire operator providing pre-booked ground transportation. Booking transport with RushXO covers a journey and forms no part of any immigration, legal, housing or support process.
RushXO has no connection to the Home Office or to immigration enforcement, is not a charity, is not a legal or advice service, and is not regulated to provide immigration advice or services and does not provide them. No member of our staff and no driver will offer an opinion on any person’s immigration situation. Advice should be obtained from a solicitor, barrister or regulated immigration adviser.
We do not ask for, record or pass on immigration status, case references, nationality or the reason for any journey.
