How return pricing works
Every Rushxo journey is a fixed fare per car. Book the outbound and the return in the same booking and the pair is priced at 1.8 times a single, which is a 10% saving on the round trip and, more importantly, a guaranteed car at 1am with no surge. Change the return time on the night by text if the party runs on; waiting is a flat rate and the fare does not move.
Return from anywhere
Central London venues to any borough, to Kent and Essex, to Surrey and Hertfordshire; hotel parties out of town back into the city; or a wait-and-return where the driver simply stays at the venue. For groups we return in waves so nobody is stuck waiting for the last person.
Why it beats the app on the night
The app price for the same journey at midnight in December is whatever the surge says, and the car may cancel when it sees a group of eight with balloons. A pre-booked return is a contract: the fare is agreed, the driver is assigned and the car is tracked.
