Most festivals grow until they stop being enjoyable. 2000trees has deliberately kept its capacity low, and the crowd it attracts is famously protective of that. The site is reached down single-track Cotswold lanes, which is both part of the charm and the one real logistical constraint.

A capped capacity plus a loyal returning audience means this one sells out reliably and often well ahead. The transport is worth arranging at the same time, because July is the middle of our busiest stretch and vehicles for festival weekends go early too. There is no late option here on either front.
The lanes need planning, not worrying about
Single-track Cotswold roads carrying a festival's arrival traffic move slowly, and a coach cannot sit and wait on them. We agree a drop point and a collection point in advance where a large vehicle can safely stop, and we plan the departure so the last five miles happen outside the worst of the crush.
The tidiness is not a marketing claim
2000trees has a genuine reputation for a crowd that takes its litter home, which is unusual enough to be worth mentioning. It also means the site on the Monday is in a state that makes the collection considerably more pleasant than at a large festival, and that the kit going back in the vehicle is generally in better condition.
Still a working farm in July
Small and well-run does not mean dry. Upcote is farmland rather than parkland, with the drainage that implies, and a wet week produces exactly what you would expect. Wellingtons, waterproofs and bags for the muddy kit on the way home, as at every farm-site festival.
