UK Point-to-Point Transfers
Most of our route pages start in London. This one doesn't. RushXO runs fixed-price transfers between any two UK addresses — Woking to Uxbridge, Cheltenham to Darlington, a Cornish village to a Cumbrian one — with no requirement that either end is in London. You get a firm price before you book, one driver for the whole journey, and no meter. Fare bands start from £30 for short local hops and scale by distance. 24/7, TfL licensed, fully insured.
What this covers
Journeys that skip London entirely
Plenty of private-hire firms are really London firms with a long-distance sideline: they'll take you out of the capital happily enough, but ask them for Woking to Uxbridge, or Cheltenham to Darlington, and the quote gets vague — because the car has to come from somewhere and go back somewhere.
We price those journeys properly. A RushXO point-to-point transfer is a single fixed fare for the whole car between any two UK addresses, quoted in advance, with one driver from door to door. No handover, no meter, no "plus return mileage" added at the end. If we can't do a job well at a fair price, we say so at the quoting stage rather than on the day.
Typical reasons people book: hospital and clinic transfers between towns, business travel between offices and sites that no direct train serves, relocations and university moves, funerals and family events in another county, connecting airports that aren't in the same region, and rail-disruption rescue when a cross-country service collapses.

Indicative saloon bands for the whole car (up to 4 passengers), fixed at booking; Executive, MPV 6-seater and 8-seater quoted the same way. Your exact fare depends on the two postcodes, the time and the vehicle — send both addresses and we'll return a firm number. Journeys over 250 miles are quoted individually.
How to book
Two addresses, one price
- Send both postcodes. By online booking, phone or WhatsApp — the more precise the addresses, the more precise the quote.
- Tell us the constraints. Passengers, luggage, an appointment or check-in time to hit, mobility needs, child seats (free), animals travelling.
- Get a firm number. Not an estimate, not a range — the fare you'll actually pay, valid whether the day turns out sunny or gridlocked.
- One driver, all the way. No relay handovers at service stations; the person who collects you is the person who drops you off.
Special cases we handle regularly: wheelchair-accessible vehicles, unaccompanied minors by prior arrangement, hospital discharge timings that slip by hours, and group journeys needing an 8-seater.
FAQ
UK point-to-point frequently asked questions
Do both ends of the journey have to be in London?
No — that's the point of this page. We run any UK postcode to any UK postcode, including journeys that never come near London. Send us both addresses and we'll quote a fixed fare for the whole car.
How much is a transfer between two UK towns?
It depends on the distance and the vehicle, but the bands start at £30 for under 10 miles, £85 for 25–50 miles and £290 for 100–150 miles. As worked examples: Woking to Uxbridge is from £48 and Cheltenham to Darlington from £480.
Will I be charged for the driver's return journey?
No. The quoted fare is the total fare — no return mileage, no repositioning fee, no extras added on the day. If a job is uneconomic for us to run, we tell you when you ask rather than quietly loading the price.
Do you use one driver for the whole journey?
Yes — no handovers at motorway services. The driver who collects you is the driver who drops you off, which matters most on the long jobs and for passengers who need consistency.
Can you do hospital or clinic transfers between towns?
Yes, and it's one of our most common point-to-point bookings. Discharge times slip, so we build flexibility into the booking rather than metering the wait — and wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available.
What about journeys over 250 miles?
We quote those individually — they're regularly done, but the pricing depends on timing and vehicle enough that a band would mislead. Send the two addresses and a date and we'll come back with a firm figure.
Can you help when trains are cancelled mid-journey?
Yes — cross-country rail disruption is a big part of this service. Call or WhatsApp with where you are and where you need to be; if we can get a car to you at a fair price, we'll say so straight away.
