RushXO provides pre-booked private hire for Muslim travellers, families, visitors and community groups across London and the UK — airport transfers, hotel journeys, weddings and celebrations, Eid gatherings, conferences, train station connections and long-distance travel. Every journey is arranged in advance, at a fixed fare where applicable, with the details agreed before anyone sets off.
Travel needs vary a great deal between individuals and families, and we don't assume anything about yours. Tell us what your journey needs to include and we'll build it into the quote — including stops, which most booking systems can't handle properly.
Looking for Hajj or Umrah transport? We provide UK ground transfers only — not pilgrimage packages. Read what that covers, and how to check a pilgrimage operator before you pay them.
Long journeys often need a pause. Someone may want to stop for prayer, for food, for a family with young children, or because four hours in a car without a break is four hours too many. This is entirely ordinary — and yet almost every online booking system quotes point A to point B and leaves a stop to be negotiated at the roadside with a driver who was never told about it.
We'd rather know in advance. Tell us where you'd like to stop, roughly how long for, and we'll build it into the route and the quote before you book.
Content team: confirm exactly how stops are priced — included waiting time, the rate beyond it, any maximum — and replace this box with the real policy. If the current booking system can't take stop details, that's a system change to make before publishing this section, not a claim to water down. This is the page's central promise.
None of this is specific to any one group of passengers, and we don't ask why you'd like to stop. It's simply a better way to quote a long journey.
Which airport you use usually depends on your airline rather than your plans. From any of them, a pre-booked transfer takes you directly to a hotel, a private address, a mosque or Islamic centre, a venue, a rail terminal or a destination elsewhere in the UK — one journey, with the luggage, without a change. See all London airport transfers.
Where flight monitoring is available, the transfer follows your actual landing time. Eligible airport bookings include complimentary waiting of up to 60 minutes, subject to our booking terms. We don't publish journey times — they vary with traffic and time of day, so we quote against your specific date instead.
A note on luggage: tell us the number of bags as well as the number of passengers. It matters more than people expect — particularly for family groups, and particularly on return journeys, where travellers frequently come back with considerably more than they left with. Eight seats and eight large cases don't fit in the same vehicle.
The main long-haul gateway and the most common arrival and departure point for international travel. Terminals are widely separated — tell us which when you book.
A major hub for European and some longer routes, and a frequent arrival point for family visits. Two terminals — confirm which when booking.
North-east of London with a high share of late arrivals — the point at which onward public transport is least useful, especially with a family and luggage.
North of London and convenient for the Home Counties and the Midlands. The rail route involves a shuttle and a change, worth avoiding with a group.
The smallest and quickest of the five to clear, and the closest to the City and Canary Wharf. Usually the right choice when the trip is short and arrival time matters.
We ask for luggage numbers on every booking, so here is what those numbers are for. Seats and cases compete for the same space. A vehicle that takes eight people does not take eight large suitcases as well, and the difference is usually discovered in an airport car park at six in the morning, which is the worst possible moment to discover it.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Large cases | Cabin bags | Typically used for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Saloon | Up to 4 | [X] | [X] | One to four passengers travelling light |
| Estate | Up to 4 | [X] | [X] | Four passengers with more luggage than a saloon holds |
| MPV / people carrier | Up to 6 | [X] | [X] | Families, small groups, longer trips |
| 8-seater | Up to 8 | [X] | [X] | Group departures and community events |
| Executive saloon | Up to 3 | [X] | [X] | Journeys running straight into a commitment |
Availability varies by route and date, so treat the table as a guide and let us confirm against your journey. A few things people forget to count:
If you are not sure, give us both numbers and a rough description and we will size it. That is a thirty-second conversation now instead of a problem later.
Content team: replace every [X] with RushXO’s actual fleet capacities, and remove any row the fleet does not include. Do not carry over a generic capacity chart from a supplier site — the whole point of this table is that it is checkable, and a wrong number here is worse than no table. Photograph a boot loaded to each stated capacity while you are at it; those images do double duty as proof assets under §24.
We provide UK ground transport only. Home to airport, airport to home, hotel to airport, and group departures and arrivals within the UK.
We are not a Hajj or Umrah operator. RushXO does not sell pilgrimage packages, does not arrange flights, visas or accommodation, is not an authorised pilgrimage provider, and offers no religious guidance of any kind. If you need a pilgrimage package, you need a licensed travel operator — not a private hire company.
This isn't our business, and that's exactly why it's worth saying. Pilgrimage travel is a significant purchase and it has attracted fraud in the UK — people paying substantial sums for trips that turn out not to exist or not to match what was sold.
A few things worth checking before money changes hands, with any operator:
We mention this because we'd rather be useful than sell you something. Our part is straightforward: getting you and your luggage to the airport on time, and home again afterwards.
Travelling as a group with a lot of luggage? Send the flight, the addresses and the numbers.
Quote a group transferRoutines change during Ramadan, and they change differently for different people — schedules, working hours, evening commitments and family arrangements all vary between individuals and households. We make no assumptions about anyone's. What follows is practical transport planning only.
The pattern we see operationally is simple: demand shifts heavily towards the evening for a month, and it clusters into narrow windows. Community events, gatherings and mosque journeys concentrate after sunset, and everyone wants a car at roughly the same time.
If your travel plans are the same as any other month, that's completely fine too. Book as normal.
Around Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, several practical things happen at once — regardless of how any individual marks the occasion.
The practical consequence: book earlier than an ordinary week, and book the return at the same time. For morning journeys to a venue, allow more time than the distance suggests — the roads immediately around large gatherings are the slowest part of the trip. If you're coordinating several households, send the whole picture and we'll quote it as one plan.
Journeys to mosques, Islamic centres, community buildings, schools hosting events and organisations' premises are ordinary private hire bookings. What makes them work is precision about the destination.
Muslim communities across the UK are diverse, spread across every major city and many smaller towns, and we cover journeys to venues nationwide.
To be clear about affiliation: RushXO is an independent private hire company. We are not Muslim-owned or Muslim-operated, we hold no certification from any religious authority, and we have no partnership with or endorsement from any mosque or Islamic organisation. We're a transport company that turns up on time and treats passengers properly.
A wedding is a transport project rather than a booking, and the customs, structure and number of events vary enormously between families and communities. We don't assume any particular format — you tell us the schedule and we plan the vehicles around it.
What we typically handle:
Send the whole picture to one person here: dates, venues, guest numbers, arrival flights, hotels. One contact, one schedule, one set of confirmations. See wedding transfers.
To be plain about scope: we provide transport. We don't provide anything relating to the religious or ceremonial aspects of a wedding, and we claim no expertise there.
Conferences, lectures, educational programmes, fundraising dinners and community gatherings share a logistical shape: fixed start times, venues people may not know, and a return journey at an hour when finding a car is hardest.
Advance booking matters most when an event coincides with a busy period in the calendar, or where a venue has limited parking and awkward access. Tell us the venue and timings and we'll flag anything likely to be difficult. See event transfers.
Booking for other people? Organisers and administrators regularly book for speakers and guests. Give us the traveller's name and number as well as yours — the driver contacts them, you get the confirmation.
A wedding weekend, a conference programme, a group departure or a community event is not one booking — it is a dozen movements that have to agree with each other. Most booking forms are built for one pickup and one drop-off, which is why organisers usually end up sending twelve separate enquiries and reconciling twelve separate confirmations. You do not have to do that here.
Changes are normal at this scale and we would rather hear about them early. Tell us what is provisional when you book and we will flag which parts we can hold and which need confirming by a particular point.
Organising something with more than one vehicle? Send the running order and we will quote the whole thing.
Enquire about a group bookingContent team: this section is the highest-value intent on the page and it currently has nowhere to land — the quote form takes one pickup and one drop-off. Build the group enquiry path described in §28 before publishing this, and confirm the real multi-vehicle ceiling before the copy implies there isn’t one.
Multi-generational travel has its own requirements. Grandparents, parents and children rarely travel light, rarely move at the same pace, and rarely all arrive on the same flight.
Arrival day is when a pre-booked car earns its keep — after a long flight, in an unfamiliar terminal, often with a family and a lot of luggage. Booking in advance fixes the price, the vehicle and the meeting point while you still have time to think about them.
London's airports are further from the centre, and from each other, than visitors often expect, and traffic widens the gap at certain hours. If your schedule is tight, ask us what's realistic before you commit to it.
Screenshot the confirmation before you fly. Roaming and airport Wi-Fi are both unreliable at exactly the moment you need them.
Your driver waits in the arrivals area with a name board showing the name on the booking. Complimentary waiting time on eligible bookings absorbs slow baggage and border queues.
If anything matters to you — a stop, a vehicle type, a drop-off point, what happens if the flight is delayed — ask before you confirm. We'd rather answer a question than fix a problem.
Call "020 8888 9988" or message WhatsApp. If a question would change whether you book — a stop, a vehicle size, an access requirement — ask it before you confirm rather than after.
Content team: only list a language someone can genuinely hold a booking conversation in, on a day when the person who speaks it is working. An overstated language list fails a nervous caller at exactly the wrong moment, and this page’s whole argument is that we do not overstate.
Some travellers plan trips around particular preferences — where they eat, where they stay, where they'd like to stop on a long journey. Those choices are yours to make, and there are plenty of independent resources and apps for finding them. What we can do is take the itinerary you've decided on and drive it.
Practically, that means:
On the word "halal": we don't describe ourselves as halal-certified, because certification schemes apply to products such as food, and a car journey isn't something that carries that kind of certification. We'd rather be accurate than use a label. If you have a preference about your journey, tell us and we'll give you a straight answer about what we can and can't do.
We provide no food, catering or facilities of any kind — we're a transport company. Anything to do with dining, accommodation or facilities is entirely your own arrangement.
Requirements vary and so do vehicles, so what we can arrange depends on your specific need, your location and your date. Tell us before booking rather than hoping on the day.
Content team — highest-risk section on the page. Publish no claim about wheelchair-accessible vehicles unless RushXO genuinely operates them and can say where and when. If they aren't offered, say so plainly and signpost a provider who does. An ambiguous claim that fails someone on the morning of a family wedding or an airport departure is far worse than an honest "we can't". Replace this box with an accurate statement either way.
Call "020 8888 9988" or message WhatsApp before booking and we'll tell you honestly what we can arrange. See also assisted and door-to-door travel.
Most journeys are uneventful. These are the routes for the ones that are not, published here so you do not have to go looking for them at a bad moment.
Journeys start in London and the South East and run nationwide. The places below are listed because of where the roads and the runways are, not because of anything about who lives there.
Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City in full, with journeys to and from Birmingham, Manchester, East Midlands, Bristol, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow quoted individually. See London airport transfers.
City-to-city travel in one leg, with the luggage and with stops built in — the M1, M6, M4 and M40 corridors most often, which in practice means Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Bristol, Cardiff, Liverpool and Newcastle, and anywhere between them. See UK-wide private hire.
St Pancras International, Euston, King’s Cross, Paddington, Liverpool Street and Victoria, plus regional terminals — see train station transfers. For sailings, Southampton, Dover, Tilbury and Harwich: cruise transfers.
If your journey is not obviously on that list, ask anyway. Long and unusual routes are quoted individually and we will tell you plainly if it is not something we can cover well.
Examples of journey types — not fixed routes, scheduled services or dedicated RushXO routes. Everything is quoted individually against its own date, time and addresses.
We do not publish fares, because a fare that ignores your date, your vehicle and your luggage is not a fare — it is an advertisement. What we can do is tell you exactly what the number is built from, so that when you get it you can see whether it makes sense.
And what does not change it: demand. Where fixed pricing applies, the fare agreed at booking is the fare you pay — on an ordinary Tuesday, on the morning of Eid, and on the busiest departure weekend of the pilgrimage season alike. No surge, no recalculation because the traffic was worse than expected, and no charge for a stop that was agreed in advance.
Ask us to quote two vehicle options if you would like to compare, and ask for the return leg at the same time — it is the leg most often forgotten and the one most likely to be unavailable if you leave it.
The full terms are in our booking terms. This is the short version of the parts people actually need.
Content team — do not draft these numbers, retrieve them. Every bracket above must come from the live booking terms and must match them word for word. A summary that contradicts the terms it links to is worse than no summary, and this section will be quoted back at RushXO by anyone who disputes a charge. If a policy does not exist yet, that is a policy to write before this section publishes.
We will never ask you to transfer money to a personal bank account, and we will never contact you out of the blue asking for a payment by a route you did not choose. Payments go to RushXO under the company name shown on your confirmation.
If anyone contacts you claiming to be from RushXO and asks for money any other way, stop and call us on "020 8888 9988". We would far rather answer a call that turns out to be nothing.
This is the same advice we give about checking a pilgrimage operator before paying them, and it would be a poor page that gave it without applying it to itself.
A terminal, a hotel, a station, or a private address with any access notes.
Including the building and entrance for venues and community buildings, not just the street.
Where, and roughly how long. This is the step most booking forms don't have, and it's the one that stops a long journey going wrong.
And tell us if there's a time you must arrive by, so we can work backwards from it.
Flight number and terminal, so the transfer can follow your actual arrival where flight monitoring is available.
Both numbers. On return journeys, allow for anything extra you're bringing back.
Mobility aids, child seats, extra time, a companion travelling with you.
Where fixed pricing applies, the quoted fare — including agreed stops — is the fare you pay.
Written confirmation with your reference, plus driver and vehicle information ahead of travel where available.
Content team: verify every step against the live booking flow; remove rather than reword anything the system doesn't support — particularly step 3. This sequence deliberately differs from the LGBTQ+, NHS and Jewish community pages; keep that difference.
Tell us where you'd like to stop and it's in the route and the fare before you book.
Arranged in advance and confirmed in writing before travel.
Agreed at booking, with no surge pricing and no hidden costs.
TfL-licensed for applicable London journeys and DBS-checked where applicable.
Available on eligible bookings, with a name board in arrivals.
Where available, transfers follow the actual arrival time.
Up to 60 minutes complimentary on eligible airport bookings, subject to current terms.
Standard and executive, plus group and 8-seater vehicles where available.
Airports, hotels, stations, venues, ports and long-distance journeys.
Send the full picture — flights, venues, guests, stops — and we'll quote it as one plan.
What we don't claim: RushXO is not Muslim-owned or Muslim-operated, holds no halal or religious certification, has no affiliation with or endorsement from any mosque or Islamic organisation, and is not a Hajj or Umrah operator. Where a transport company is vague about any of that, it's worth asking why.
No. RushXO provides UK ground transport only — journeys to and from airports, hotels and homes within the UK. We do not sell pilgrimage packages, arrange flights, visas or accommodation, and we are not an authorised pilgrimage operator or travel agency. For a package you need a licensed travel operator; it's worth checking what financial protection they offer before paying.
Yes — that's exactly the part we do. Home to airport, airport to home, hotel to airport, group departures with multiple vehicles where available, and multiple pickups across several addresses. Tell us how many people are travelling, how many are coming to see them off, and how much luggage — and on the return journey, allow for anything extra being brought back.
Yes, and it's much better to tell us at booking than on the road. Say where you'd like to stop and roughly how long for — or just say roughly where along the route and we'll suggest somewhere sensible. Where fixed pricing applies, the quote includes the stop. [CONTENT TEAM: state the actual stop pricing policy.]
No. RushXO is an independent private hire company with no Muslim ownership, no religious certification, and no affiliation with or endorsement from any mosque or Islamic organisation. We also don't use the term "halal certified" about ourselves, because certification schemes apply to products such as food rather than to a car journey. What we offer is pre-booked transport that turns up on time and does what was agreed.
Yes, from any UK airport. Give us the passenger and luggage numbers, the flight details, and anyone in the group who'd benefit from easier access or a closer drop-off, and we'll size the vehicle and plan the pickup accordingly.
Yes — these are ordinary private hire bookings. Give the building name and the entrance you need as well as the street address, since community buildings are often set back from the road or share an address with something else. At busy times, agreeing a pickup point slightly away from the main entrance is usually faster.
Yes, including guest arrivals across several days, hotel-to-venue transfers with multiple vehicles departing together, family vehicles and return journeys. Celebrations vary widely in structure, so tell us the schedule and we'll build the vehicles around it. We provide transport only, and make no claims relating to any religious or ceremonial aspect of an event.
Yes. Book earlier than you would for an ordinary week, and allow extra time for morning journeys to a venue — the roads immediately around large gatherings are the slowest part of the trip. Booking the return at the same time is worth doing.
Yes. Evening demand rises sharply during Ramadan and concentrates into narrow windows, so book further ahead than usual for evening journeys and book returns at the same time. If timing is tight, give us the time you need to arrive by rather than a pickup time and we'll work backwards from it. We don't publish times — use whatever source you normally would and tell us what matters for your journey.
Yes, for individuals, families, small groups or larger parties across multiple vehicles where available. We also cover airport arrivals for visiting speakers and hotel-to-venue transfers across a programme.
Where the option applies to your route and date, yes. Give us passenger and luggage counts — both matter, since eight seats and eight large cases don't fit in the same vehicle — and we'll confirm what's available.
Yes, in both directions and for multiple vehicles where a group travels together. Booking the return at the same time is worth doing, particularly for evening events.
Meet & greet is available on eligible airport bookings — your driver waits in arrivals with a name board showing the name on the booking. Where flight monitoring is available, give us the flight number and the transfer follows your actual landing time. Eligible airport bookings also include up to 60 minutes of complimentary waiting, subject to our booking terms.
Yes, alongside standard options, subject to availability on your route and date. Ask us to quote both if you'd like to compare.
As early as your plans allow. Around Eid, Ramadan evenings, pilgrimage departure periods and celebration weekends, demand concentrates into narrow windows and availability tightens well before the dates. For anything involving multiple vehicles, earlier is materially better — and it costs nothing to ask us to check a date.
See vehicles, seats and suitcases for capacities by vehicle type. The short answer is that seats and cases compete for the same space, so a vehicle rated for eight passengers will not also take eight large cases. Give us both numbers and we will size it properly.
We accept [METHODS], taken [WHEN], and your confirmation states what has been paid. We will never ask you to transfer money to a personal bank account. If anyone contacts you claiming to be from RushXO and asks for payment any other way, call us on 020 8888 9988 before sending anything.
[CONTENT TEAM: confirm whether consolidated invoicing, account billing and VAT invoices are available, and for whom.] Send the running order for the whole event and we will quote it as one plan — see booking for a group or an event.
Yes. Changes to times, addresses or vehicle size can usually be made up to [X] before pickup at no charge, subject to availability, and cancellation is free up to [X] before pickup. The detail is under waiting, changes and cancellations and in our booking terms.
Give us the flight number when you book. Where flight monitoring is available the transfer follows your actual landing time, and eligible airport bookings include up to 60 minutes of complimentary waiting after that. You do not need to call us mid-delay. If the flight is cancelled or diverted, let us know as soon as you can.
[CONTENT TEAM: state RushXO’s actual child seat policy — what is available, on which vehicles, whether it must be requested in advance, and what happens if a family brings its own.] Tell us the ages and the number of children when you book so we can confirm what is possible for your journey.
[CONTENT TEAM: answer this plainly, either way. If wheelchair-accessible vehicles are not operated, say so and signpost a provider who does.] What we can say now is that a folding wheelchair, walking frame or other mobility aid can travel with you, and that step-free access, extra time and a specific drop-off point can be arranged where the vehicle and location allow. Tell us before booking rather than on the day — see accessibility and travel requirements.
Yes. Long-distance journeys run nationwide — Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Cardiff, Newcastle and anywhere on the way — in one leg, with the luggage and with planned stops built into the quote. See where we travel.
Where available, yes — driver and vehicle details are sent ahead of travel alongside your booking reference. If you have not received them and your pickup is close, call us rather than waiting.
Yes, and it is common — families book for relatives arriving from overseas and organisers book for speakers and guests all the time. Give us the traveller’s name and number as well as your own: the driver contacts them, and the confirmation comes to you.
Contact us as soon as you notice and quote your booking reference. Items handed in are held for [X] and can be collected or returned by courier at cost.
No. Where fixed pricing applies, the fare agreed at booking is the fare you pay, regardless of what the date is. What does change at busy times is availability — which is the actual reason to book early, and a better one than price.
