How Kensington and Chelsea gets to the airport: fares, routes and timings

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is London's most densely populated borough and home to many of its best-known hotels, museums and garden squares. It stretches from North Kensington and Notting Hill through Holland Park and Kensington to South Kensington, Knightsbridge, Chelsea and the river at Chelsea Embankment.

For airport runs the A4 Cromwell Road and the Westway lead straight to Heathrow. The borough splits for pricing: SW7 and W8 are inside Rushxo's central surcharge zone, while SW3, SW5, SW10, W10 and W11 are inner London.

Why two Kensington and Chelsea addresses can price differently

South Kensington (SW7) and Kensington (W8) are inside Rushxo's extended central surcharge zone, so a £20 surcharge applies; they are inner London for every other purpose, so there is no Congestion Charge allowance. Chelsea (SW3, SW10), Earl's Court (SW5), Notting Hill and North Kensington (W10, W11) carry no surcharge. Both pickup zones are priced below.
