How airport taxi prices are set
Three things set a Rushxo airport fare: the road distance between your address and the terminal, the vehicle type, and on some longer routes the time of day. Traffic, weather, demand and the number of passengers do not change it. Saloon is the base; estate, executive, 6-seat MPV and 8-seat minibus are priced per vehicle. Extras such as child seats and additional stops are itemised, and the airport's drop-off or pickup charge is included so the number you are quoted is the number you pay.

Taxi versus train, app and parking
For one person with hand luggage on a weekday, a train can be cheaper than a taxi to Heathrow, Gatwick or Stansted. For two or more people with cases, door to door, the fixed fare is usually competitive with two or three rail tickets plus the taxi at each end, and it is far more predictable than an app fare at 4am or in the rain. Against a week of airport parking, a return taxi is often cheaper and there is no shuttle bus. Where the train wins, we say so on the airport pages.

Per car. The whole vehicle is yours for the fixed fare, however many people travel, up to its seat count.
Do prices go up at night or on bank holidays?
No night or bank-holiday surcharge. Some routes carry a small weekend afternoon premium that is shown in the quote.
Is the drop-off charge included?
Yes, at every UK airport, along with pickup charges and waiting time on arrivals.
Can I pay by card?
Yes, online at booking or to the driver. Cash is also accepted.
