Southwark to the airports and Eurostar, fixed and fully priced

Southwark stretches from the Thames at London Bridge, Bankside and Bermondsey south through Elephant & Castle, Walworth and Camberwell to Peckham, East Dulwich, Dulwich Village and Herne Hill, with Rotherhithe and Canada Water along the river to the east. London Bridge station puts Thameslink to Gatwick and Luton on the doorstep, and the A2 Old Kent Road leads straight out to Kent.

For pricing the borough splits in two. The riverside (SE1) is central London in the booking engine, so it carries the central surcharge; Rotherhithe, Peckham and Dulwich do not. Both zones are priced in the table.

What changes the fare in Southwark

London Bridge, Borough, Bankside, Bermondsey and Elephant & Castle (SE1) are central London in the booking engine: the Congestion Charge allowance and the £20 central surcharge apply. Further south the picture changes: Rotherhithe, Canada Water, East Dulwich, Dulwich Village and Nunhead (SE16, SE21, SE22) carry neither. Walworth, Camberwell and Peckham sit between the two, so check the area notes below, which flag each patch the surcharge applies to. The fare table shows both zones, and the area notes below say which applies.

Arriving into Southwark from an airport or Eurostar

Book with your flight or train number and the pickup follows the real arrival time; the driver meets you in arrivals with a name board, and there is no night surcharge for late landings.

Southwark airport transfer questions
