Heathrow to Bristol — common questions
How much is a taxi from Heathrow to Bristol?

How long does it take?
Around 105–110 miles, nearly all on the M4 — typically 1 hr 45 min to 2 hrs 15 min. Northeast Bristol (Emersons Green, Downend, Yate) comes off at J18/J19 and is often home before the city centre. Sunday mornings usually run well under two hours.
Where does the driver meet us?
In your terminal's arrivals hall with a name board — at T2, the central arrivals zone near the coffee shop opposite the lifts. Then a two-minute covered walk to the vehicle in the Short Stay car park.
Will 6 passengers with suitcases fit?
Comfortably — the 8-seater takes 6 passengers with 6–8 large cases on separate racks plus hand luggage. Child seats are available on request at booking.
What if our overnight flight lands early or late?
We dispatch to your actual landing time, not your booking time — the driver adjusts automatically at no charge, and 60 minutes of free waiting runs from touchdown, covering immigration and baggage for the whole group.
Is it better than the train for a group?
For six with luggage, clearly — the rail route is three legs (Reading, then GWR, then a local taxi) with every case at each change, and six combined fares typically exceed the whole minibus. One vehicle, no changes, ~£43 each.
Can we book both directions together?
