How Harrow gets to the airport: fares, routes and timings

Harrow is north-west London's outer suburb, centred on the hill topped by Harrow School and St Mary's Church. It takes in Wealdstone, Pinner, Stanmore, Edgware's western side, Rayners Lane, Kenton and South Harrow, with the M1 and A41 to the east and the A40 and M25 within easy reach.

That position makes Heathrow and Luton the quickest airports, with Birmingham an easy M40 or M1 run. All Harrow postcodes are outer London in the booking engine.

Priced for a pickup at Harrow, Harrow HA1 1BA, UK.

Standard fares, whole vehicle, one way; the reverse journey costs the same. Returns are 1.9× the single. The engine adds 20% for Friday journeys, Saturday and Sunday pickups before noon, Monday–Thursday trips into London 07:00–10:00 and out of London 16:00–19:00, and a seasonal supplement from 17 December to 1 January. Tariff 2026-09-21h-csz.

Why two Harrow addresses can price differently

Harrow addresses are outer-London postcodes, so there is no central surcharge on these fares, and the Congestion Charge allowance only appears on the St Pancras run because the station itself is in a central postcode. What moves the price is distance, plus the airport drop-off charge at the airport end. Runs where neither end is an airport or inner London – Ebbsfleet, Ashford and Birmingham International – are priced on the engine's out-of-town rate, which is about 10% above the London rate for the same mileage.
