Student transfers: airport pickups, term moves and university trips
Rushxo provides fixed-fare transfers for students and universities in London and the South East: international student pickups at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton, moves into and out of halls at the start and end of term, transfers to open days and graduations, and minibuses for societies, sports clubs and field trips.
Airport pickups include a meet-and-greet with a name board, live flight tracking and 60 minutes of free waiting after landing, which matters on long-haul arrivals at Heathrow where immigration can take a while. Luggage is not limited to a fixed number of bags: a saloon takes two large cases, an MPV four to six, and a minibus a whole year group's worth of boxes.
Universities, colleges and accommodation providers can open a monthly account to arrange arrival-week transfers for groups of students, and parents abroad can book and pay by card so the student simply meets the driver. Fares include tolls, ULEZ and the airport forecourt charge.
- Heathrow to halls in Bloomsbury, Kings Cross, Stratford, Greenwich, Kingston and Egham at fixed fares
- 8- and 16-seater minibuses for society trips, sports fixtures and field courses
- Term-move bookings with extra luggage space at no surcharge
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup
Frequently asked questions
Can my parents book and pay from overseas?
Yes. Parents book online or by WhatsApp, pay by card, and receive the driver's details; the student meets the driver at arrivals.
Do you do group bookings for arrival week?
Yes. Universities and accommodation providers can book multiple vehicles across the week on one account.
