Calculation:

Distance (30 miles): 1.0x
Season (September, off-peak): 0.9x
Multi-stop surcharge: +£50 (2 additional stops)

Total: £160 × 1.0 × 0.9 + £50 = £194

Per-person: £194 ÷ 25 = £7.76/person

Example 2: Corporate Event (40 people) London to Oxford

Calculation:

Base price (coach): £220
Distance (60 miles): 1.2x
Season (peak July): 1.3x
Waiting time (2 hours): +£100

Total: £220 × 1.2 × 1.3 + £100 = £444

Per-person: £444 ÷ 40 = £11.10/person

Example 3: Emergency (Coach broke down, 30 people)

Calculation:

Base price (3 vans): 3 × £140 = £420
Distance (50 miles): 1.1x
Emergency premium (same-day): 1.4x

Total: £420 × 1.1 × 1.4 = £645
