Boxing Day is the day people get caught out. It looks like transport is back, but National Rail runs little or nothing on 26 December, Gatwick Express does not run, engineering works are common and the Tube starts late on a reduced timetable. If you are flying out after Christmas, the safe plan is a car booked at a fixed fare, collected from your door at a time you choose.
Boxing Day is also the biggest sales and football day of the holiday, so the roads into central London fill from late morning. A pre-booked driver knows that and plans the route; the fare is fixed regardless of how long the trip takes.

The fare is the same as any other day. Rushxo does not add a Bank Holiday uplift, so 26 December costs what the route costs on a normal weekday.
Gatwick Express does not run on 25 or 26 December and Southern operates a reduced service on Boxing Day, often with engineering work. A booked car removes the question.
